Is it okay to use an electric motor cleaner to degrease a bike chain and crankset?

I ran out of my degreaser but I have duratrax power shot electric motor cleaner spray. It does the same thing but I'm not sure if I can use it on a bicycle. Also, can I use bearing oil to oil my bike components?
