Is it normal to itch after smoking marijuana ?

So , last weekend I got high . Alot . Like I smoked from Friday night until Sunday morning . I was sober for about an hour in between that . (I know , amazing , right ? Lol .) But anyways , so Sunday night and all day Monday I had itchy hands and like a buzzed numbness (If you smoke , you know what I'm talking about .) And Now I have big weltws on my hands from itching and I can't stop . I just wanted ot know if this is a normal After-High feeling or could it have been something the weed was grown in ? Btw , it was NOT dirt weed & NO LECTURES .
