California for a couple (no kids)? I am planning to move to california in Oct 2013. The company is offering me about $90K (I may be able to negotiate upto $100K) a year before taxes. Is this salary good enough for a family of 2 (no kids as of now). I reaserached a bit and found that any decent 1 Bed apartments would cost about $1900 a month. and I am adding another $2000 for other household & travel expenses. Please suggest if this is enough?
