My device was updated, unlocked and jailbroke today after alot of hard work I got rid of sn0wbreeze and opted for redsn0w which forced to update to 5.0.1 from 5.0.
I used sn0wbreeze to preserve the baseband on windows and then used redsn0w for the jailbreak. Which should have gave me working location services.
The reason I wanted to upgrade is because there is no way to update a sn0wbreeze jailbreak even if the untethered JB is released. So now i'm on 5.0.1 and still even though I used redsn0w the location services bug from iOS 5 is still there.
When location services were on in 5.0 it dropped the signal when you used a location app, But with 5.0.1 it drops it willy nilly all the time.. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to fix this bug I know my GPS will still be screwed but triangulation would be a major plus if anyone could help me get it working.
