iPad/Touch wireless connected, but browsers and apps don't work?

Just change to AT&T Uverse 6M, desktop and laptop computers works just fine.
iPad and iPod Touch shows that they are connected to the internet,
but any activities involve internet just don't work, and they don't have 3G.
It seems this problem is a common among apple handheld devices.
Have tried turning on and off, internet setting reset, and hard reset, but nothing worked.
