i have an acoustic electric, an amp, and a mic that can plug into my amp and I would like to start a home recording studio just for fun. What else would I need to record? I have tried to do research and found a lot of talk about interfaces/mixers and I am a little lost at that. What I want to do is to be able to record the guitar and then go back over and record the lyrics and the mic on my laptop just will not cut it. If i have to i could do both at once but i would like to avoid that if possible.
