Information from people that have worked in Pursers Department, Princess Cruises?

I would like information regarding the Pursers Department on Cruise Ships, more so Princess Cruises.
Such as the working hours, daily job tasks/duties, accommodation, meals and first day on the ship.

I would appreciate peoples feedback so that I can get an understanding of what to expect.
