In Boxing and MMA, why can't the judges scores be posted after each round?

I know this matter was brought up before, but I haven't heard why this has not been implemented yet. It makes all the sense in the world.
Firstly, each fighter would know exactly where they stand in the fight, whether they need to go for the KO or not.
Secondly, it would eliminate the notion that fights are "fixed".
Lastly, no other sports keep the score a secret until the very end. Gymnastics, figure skating, diving, etc, all these sports post the score after each performance. Every sport in the world (besides boxing and MMA), partcipants know where they stand, they know what the score is. Why in boxing and MMA do they keep it a secret? Someone please tell me why they shouldn't post the score after each round, I would like to hear it.
