I'm thinking about buying a Toyota 4Runner?

I'm thinking about buying a 4th generation Toyota 4Runner. My budget is around 16k. When looking on cars.com etc... I am finding that most of the ones I find have 100,000k miles plus. I know that these trucks run for ever when taken care of, but would I be expecting a bunch of maintenance costs and taking a huge risk if I bought one with that many miles? I don't want to spend 16k on a vehicle and have to put 2k into maintenance in the first year or so. What do you Toyota gearheads think?

no way.its ugly and can tip over.plus its a toyota.they suck and are cheap looking.buy a american car instead of a japan car.

i have a 95 4runner that my parents bought me new. best car ever. no problems. the only negative thing is it is a gas guzzler. some factors is that it is heavy, tall, big tires and so on. i would definitely buy another 4runner. the 4wd is fantastic.
