...for the free texting apps? I am considering getting the iphone 4, but my parents pay for my phone bill and they wont pay for texting...i downloaded a free texting app on my itouch but i can only recieve and send texts when i am in a spot were i can get wifi. the bad thing is that my college does not provide wifi in the dorms so whenever im in them i cant text using that. i want to get the iphone 4 soon and was just wondering if the internet service provided with the data plan would be sufficient for the texting apps? or will i still only be able to send and recieve texts when i am in a place with wifi?
