I went to my union representative and she and I agreed that my department head was maligning me and that the proper response was to have a meeting with the store manager, the department head, the union representative and myself to discuss it. Initially I got better comments and reviews than I'd ever received from her but this week (two weeks later) she broke a verbal promise. I'd asked for and received verbal permission to have two days off before my vacation week. I got the schedule this week and I'm working both days. Could this be retaliation? I'm leaving in a few minutes to see if its a mistake and if so what I could do about it but I just don't know.
