i tried to replace my an old phone jack and didnt how to do it. i crossed the worng wires together and didnt unplug the jack outside. did i fry circits of something? blow a fuse.. why are u suppose to unplug the phone jack outside when replacing a phone jack inside? and also.. if i still can, how do i inslall a phone jack? i have 12 wires running and they are red black yellow and green. please help me.. thanks
