I want to upgrade my graphics card on my pc, mainly for playing games. My pc is an HP Pavilion a1700n and right now it has an Nvidia GeForce 6150 LE video card. My motherboard has three PCI slots, and one PCI Express x16 slot.
I've heard that good cards use PCI Express so I want one that uses that. But, will only having one PCI Express slot be an issue?
I'm looking for a GOOD card that is no more than $100.
If anyone can help me out, please do so, because I am clueless when it comes to this stuff.
What do you think about this one?
It's a 1GB 9600 Series and I could get it for $104 after the rebate.
