I was given a George Steinbrenner baseball from my uncle with the certificate of authenticity 8 years ago. I was 8 years old and me a being a stupid kid took it out of the case to show my friends. I dropped it on the floor and it rolled under my bed. The sticker came off and I haven't found it since. How would I prove its real? Is the value affected?

Here's my problem with this question.
A ball with a sticker on it rolls under your bed.
You see the sticker is gone.
How far could the sticker have possible gone?
But eight years later you still haven't found it?

Without the coa it would be impossible to put a price on it. Take it to a memorabilia shop for a referral for someone who will authenticate it.
But unless you actually plan on selling it, don't bother.

You dont need to prove that it is real. I would never sell something like that.

One time I shook Ric Flair's hand and got his autograph. No one believes that I shook his hand but I wouldnt trade that for anything in the world.
