I have a computer that the CD-ROM & DVD-ROM Don't work and I have a Virus.?

Neither drive work and the computer wont boot up all the way to the desktop so I can't click on anything. If I get an external DVD -ROM drive can I put the BIOS to boot from USB Drive, will I be able to boot from the DVD in the external Hard drive?

Seems like you have multiple things going on. Have you tried booting in safe mode or 'Last Known Good Configuration' yet?
