I don't know if there is any real difference between regular bread recipes and those for a machine. I don't have a machine, but I do make bread on a regular basis.

If you want to make bread without a machine, there are tons of recipes online. My favorite is Grandma Van Doren's White Bread at allrecipes.com.

...old fashioned way? I was just wonder the difference in recipes for bread in a bread machine vs making it by hand? Is there even a difference or are they the same?

If you are kneading it by hands you need to do do 10 minute intervals of kneading. Using a bread machine should give a better result but the whole point of home-made bread is for it to be rustic, right??
