I can't receive or send text messages on my cell phone!!! I have Verizon & my phone

is an LG enV!! Help me! So as listed above my cell phone company is Verizon Wireless and my cell phone is an LG enV. I can't send a message to my friend (who also has Verizon) and I can't send messages to any of my other friends (who do not have Verizon). Please help me, what can I do? Can it easily be repaired by turning it on & off once, or should I get it replaced, or is it probably just Verizon, or does it just need to be fixed?? Anything helps!

This happens with my cingular/att phone sometimes. You need to call the phone company and they can reset it for you. Then you should be able to use it, but call from a land line b/c they will need you to turn the phone off and on while you talk to them. GOOD LUCK, AND HAPPY TEXTING
