So, a few weeks ago I won a new Nokia Lumia 800. I've been using the Samsung Omnia 7 after I got that about 10 months ago. My sister told me she needed a new phone so I borrowed the Samsung to her. A part of the cover at the bottom was loose and she forgot to bring it along. A week later she tells me her father(he's a real scumbag(like the abusive kind)) was throwing her jacket around and he broke it. If she hadn't needed a new phone I would've continued to use the Samsung and sold the Nokia. He says its my fault for lending her a broken phone(just missing a part of the cover with I still have at home because she forgot to bring it along), but I think he should pay for the cracked screen. Please help me solve this problem. My sister is 11 and can't be held accountable for any of this. I really think he should pay for the phone. My mom and her dad don't live together and have a deal that when he is with her he is financially responsible for her.
