I asked him out he said no, we stayed friends but now he doesnt anwser?

ok so i asked this guy out, and we supposely stayed friends but i asked him for his number on myspace and he never anwsered back even though he logs in? and what i dont understand is that he was all after me and even asked me out ( at that time i didnt lik him so i said no) when i asked him out he said no cuz he has a girlfriend, but i don know why he doesnt give me his number?? wats his problem?
