How to tell if I blew a fuse in my home theater subwoofer?

Hi,

I accidentally pulled the power cord out of the wall while it was on and now the power light on the back will not power on as well, there is no longer any sound from the sub. When I pulled the cord out of the wall, the sub made these loud sounds and then stopped.

Hoping that it's just a fuse blown and that I didn't damage the crossover or anything itself but not sure how to tell as I would rather fix it myself rather than pay and arm and a leg to have it repaired professionally.

Additional Info:

Definitive Technology Powerfield 12" Active Subwoofer with 425 watts hooked up to a Denon AVR 791.

Any help would be great!

Thanks!

Is there a fuse holder on the back? If so, unscrew and visually inspect.

If there is no fuse holder on the back, you'll need to unscrew the plate amplifier and look for the fuse on that. If the sub is still under warranty, I'd suggest contacting warranty support before attempting this since unscrewing it might void the warranty.
