How to Program a Keyless Remote/Key Fob for a 1997 Dodge Intrepid?

I broke my old one so now I cant start my car due to the security system that wont go off unless I unlock it through the key fob. I bought another on Ebay and now I need to program it to my car. The one on ebay matched the numbers with mine.

This is very frustrating as something as little as a remote key thing is keeping me from using my car at all.

this most likely has to be done at the dealer. the car's ECM must learn the new remote and a special scanner that most repair shops do not have is needed. Its a very simple procedure and shouldn't cost too much but it must be done at the dealer or a very good repair shop with Chrysler's DRB2 scanners.
