I own the game dvd Grand Theft Auto IV. My DVD is starting to get really scratched because I play so often. I have tried making a copy of this DVD but when I insert the copy disc to play, I get an error message from securom (the dvd protection measure built in) that I have to use an original copy to play the game. The game still works fine with my original disc, but I need to make an exact copy including the protection measures so that I can continue to use the copy when my original is no longer of use. THIS IS NOT ILLEGAL TO DO if you own your original copy. It is only illegal if you are copying it to sell or profit from. Can anyone tell me exactly how to do this or how to defeat the securom protection so that I may continue playing ONLINE. I Play online and although the older nodvd files work for single player, they do not work for multiplayer online play. Please help, thx
