how to introduce two beardies to eachother?

should i just put them in together??
ive got a male adding a female to tank to breed
 
If they are both old enough and big enough, then the male can be introduced to the female during breeding season. Watch closely for territorial fighting and separate them immediately if you notice this. Don't leave them together as they will both try to vy for heat/basking and food. Well introducing them directly to each other my not be an ingenious idea. First, you might want to keep them close together: in different cages. This is so they can understand each others presence. Also, if one of your birds is territorial you can quickly see that it is not ready for company. BE WARNED: highly territorial beardies can be aggressive enough to attack and seriously injure other lizards. They can guard food and water from other lizards as well.
