how to fabricate boat seats?

I have a 1950's aluminum boat shell. there is metal seat frames and i was wondering how to get some real seats. any links to videos or sites i can refer to would be great or a brief description. but i guess i need to get some marine grade wood and a certain type of foam and cloth and some how attach the cloth to the wood. I'm not entirely sure but a list of materials would be very much appreciated. Thanks
