How to downgrade blackberry OS?

I have OS 6 but i wanna go back to OS 5 and I'm having problems trying to downgrade on Desktop Manager. It has options to downgrade to OS 5 and i tried but during the installation it stopped and said "Aborting install due to validation faiure. Some packages contained unsatisfied dependencies."

I don't understand what's wrong?

That's a good question. I guess I'd try a couple things.

First, if you're trying to make the desktop manager pull the 5.0 software down over the internet, go to your carrier's download site for blackberry devices, download a complete copy of the 5.0 software from there as an executable file and install that on your computer, then try the downgrade to the version you downloaded with your browser.

Also I guess I'd run through the app loader and uninstall absolutely everything possible, and see if the downgrade works after that.
