How to Convert Hi8 tapes to DVD?

I want to convert Hi8 tapes to DVD, but I don't have a player. I have about 80 tapes.

get a digital converter , they are hell cheap now that the market is drying up .. this will grab the video and audio via your rca connections and feed the video as digital into your computer , relatively cheap also , worth the 40 bucks , to keep the memories restored on file
