I just bought a wireless XBOX 360 controller and want to connect it to my msi gt70 through bluetooth or do i have to buy the special receiver?
I have windows 8

You have to buy a special receiver to play with a wireless controller. Charge and play kits do not act as a connection either in case you were wondering.

Here's where you can buy it:

Just a side note: Xbox 360 products don't use bluetooth, though PS3 does.

EDIT:

Huh... Guess I was wrong. Xbox 360 can use Bluetooth for headsets:

As far as I know Xbox controllers are not Bluetooth enabled. To connect a Xbox controller to a PC you will need a special USB receiver or buy an Xbox controller with a USB connector at the end.
Here's a few links where you can get them

Hope this helps.
