How to become a Professional MMA fighter?

I understand that to become a SUCCESSFUL MMA fighter you need to have a well rounded skill set, whether it be in boxing, wrestling, jiu-jitsu, karate, and/or a combination. I want to know how I would go about getting professional fights recorded so as to move up into the major promotions such as Strikeforce, Bellator or UFC. Serious answers only, as I am a serious competitor and am new to the prospect of going Pro. Thanks.....
