I own a 1996 Polaris Ultra SP, i had to change the track on it (that was a big job). I have it all back together, but i am concerned that the chain is too tight (i have no reason for the concern, it just scares me, i tested it around the yard and it works great but we are about to go on a trip). I tightened it up tight enough that by hand it wouldn't hit the aluminum on the inside of the chain-case. Another concern i have is that there wasn't a seal or anything on the cog side, how does the chain-case fluid get held in there without a actual seal or something to keep it in?
