It's never said, but he's at least old enough to have graduated high school so I'd assume he's around eighteen or nineteen. By the end of the film (before he falls into suspended animation) he's around 22 or 23, having spent a couple years on the show circuit selling war bonds, then another couple fighting Nazis and Hydra.
