...with if I an B+ blood type? My Grandfather is having troubles with his kidneys and I was wondering if I would be able to donate one of my kidneys to him. I am 17 years old and I think he is in his late 60's early 70's. I would love nothing more then to be able to donate to him if it were to come down to this point. So my old problem is getting questions answered... How old do i have to be? What is the safe age difference between the doner and the recipient? Would it be possible to donate to a AB+ recipient when i am B+? Is there any special thing I need to know? Thanks
