The MBz should have a warranty that will run for 3 years or 36,000 miless, whichever comes first. Some warranties run for 4 years or 50K miles, whichever comes first. You can also buy an extended warranty, if you feel the need for more coverage. Some things, like petrol and oil changes, are excluded from the warranty.

Depends - if you can do simple maintainance yourself, it should be no more than any other car. If you have service at the dealership, look for an oil change to cost a couple hundred bucks. But NEVER bring it to a Jiffy Lube or some quickie service place - they are likely to damage the car. Find a reputable foreign car repair place to have service done.
