virus/lawsuits ? I was on a torrent site looking for a movie...but i dont want to download anything if I can get a lawsuit for copyright material...the site did advertise some torrent privacy download / toolbar or something...does this work?
well you can get hundreds of things from torrents. but even the site has some viruses or the downloaded file.
the last time i downloaded a torrent the windows was badly dystroyed and i had to format it and install it again.
and rarely the files are not with viruses. and anyway if you wanted to get something. scan it before using and if it asked to restart don't restart before you scan the whole computer for its safety.
