How do I turn on my webcam?

I have a Dell Inspiron N411z with a built in webcam. I can use it just fine on Skype and websites that have video chats and whatnot. However, I cannot simply turn it on by itself. I've tried simply searching " camera," "cam," "webcam," "web cam," and "inegrated webcam," but to no avail. Searching through device manager, it does say that I do have an integrated webcam, however I cannot access it on its own.
