How do I set up my DS Lite to my Telus Wi-Fi?

I've read up on how to set up wireless access points on my Nintendo DS, but every time I "search for an access point", it gives me a message stating that my security settings aren't supported.

It baffles me how my iPod touch can detect the Wi-Fi in my house without a problem. I'm not really sure what I have to do to fix the connection between my Telus router and DS.
