I had a female rat about 1 year old dumped on me by a friend who could no longer keep her. I have never taken care of rats before and I don't have the space or the money for another cage and all the introduction stuff. It's not a matter of me being lazy I honestly just don't have ANY room for it. This rat up until yesterday had a female companion for a year and I know they aren't supposed to live alone. Is there any way I can just find the nicest oldest female at the pet store and put them together and watch them with a spray bottle. The rat I have now is a complete sweetie. I honestly have no clue on how to do this please help. It needs to be as fast as possible and not take up space. The space is the issue :/
