How do i get my Movies i downloaded on limewire to go to my itunes?

Iv tried everything. i tried to drag it there.
I went in itunes and pushed add file to library and selecting the folder that didnt work..
I cant figure it out and i know it can be done cuz my friends movies just go into itunes automatically im just not sure how and either is she. So please HELP.
