How do I become a "tour-guide" (I think its called a docent) in an art museum?
I'm still a sophomore in high school, but I need to start planning my future. When I was about 7 I went to the Getty Museum in L.A., and ever since then I've been fascinated with art. I was thinking I could be a person who gives the tours in the museum. (I'd probably want to at least aim for the Getty Museum as I live in California) How would I do this? What do I need to get degrees in in college? How far do my degrees need to extend (BA, MA, PhD?)? What can I do to start preparing now?Should I take my school's art history class? Please help!
