be hostile to Him? After all, "...he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him" - Act 10:38.

Even if people disregard Jesus' claims, surely the good that He did would ensure they weren't hostile? Yet we see a lot of hostility against Jesus on this site, ranging from adamant claims that He never existed, to accusations that His claims were invented by others.

Is it not true that the only people who can be hostile to the claims of Jesus Christ are those who understand the significance of them?
Please notice - I did not say that all people who deny the claims of Jesus Christ are hostile towards Him. I said that the only people who can be hostile to Him and His claims are those who understand the significance of them. But I would think that denying a historic person even existed is a subtle form of hostility; witness the hostility towards the Jewish people demonstrated by those who deny the Holocaust even happened.
