I'm a musician myself (I'm 21 years old) and I really want to get into doing album artwork for bands for a $ fee.
To be honest, I LOVE drawing and art, I have a serious passion for it, BUT I also need to make some money on the side.
Sometimes, I have a hard time befriending people because I'm still trying to get over my tendencies to be shy. How do I get them to let me do it? Should I just be direct with them and say something like "Hey, do you need some cd artwork done? I'd like to work with you." or what else should I say/ do?
I just don't want to be awkward and scare people off. Please help, all advice is appreciated!!
(I'll be using Adobe Photoshop to do the artwork)
