How can I fix the Android Market after the Froyo update?

I had to reset my phone (HTC Aria) this week, and now my Market app won't work. It never did this when I first got the update, but now that I reset it it won't work. I've tried taking out the battery, I've done the factory reset again, I've unchecked/rechecked the Background Data button, and I've also tried hitting the Menu button when opening Market to pull up the Accept and Decline buttons, but I can't get to them.

Also, quite a while ago my Market app was replaced by Google Play (or something like that.) I don't remember why... it was just suddenly there, while my mom's newer Inspire still uses the Android Market.

Somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong here. :/

That's the google support page for your problem. Hopefully it can walk you through it.

You're not doing anything wrong that's what happens when you reset, it'll take a while for it to update or you can always download play market from the internet somewhere. Again that's normal it will update it just takes a while

Download this on your phone
