Jul 7, 2010 #2 Z zoomjet New member Jan 17, 2010 10 0 1 I have never had any success using VLC to convert video files - the results are poor I use any video converter instead which is free and produces excellent results http://www.filehippo.com/download_any_video_converter/ select mpeg 2 from the profile menu and click convert; afterwards go File->open output folder to see the resulting file
