My dad had a video camera in the early 90s and now we have a bunch of cassette tapes, but no way to watch them cause my VCR is broken. How can we convert them into a CD or preferably a DVD to watch on TV/laptop?
One way to do it is to get a dvd burner that accepts rca cables, and connect the dvd burner and the device that plays the tape (for example, vhs player, or the camcorder) with the rca cables. Just record the video onto dvds, and there you go. It worked for me.
