I just recently bought a Samsung T220 monitor and a XFX 9800gt but now the monitor turns off on itself. I know its not the power settings as I have already turned it all to maximum performance. When i plug my old monitor in, it doesnt turn off. I'm running a 700w power supply, with vista.
it doesnt feel like when you put a computer to sleep mode or stand by, becuase i move my mouse and it still doesnt turn on, I also tap the keyboard. the way i have to turn my monitor back on is by tapping on the power button until it actually turns back on. please someone help. I have also tried another computer with the monitor and it doesnt seem to auto turn off on that one.
samsung technicians dont even know whats wrong.

I have lowered the resolution and the issue still persists.
on the computer that doesnt turn off, it had the same resolution and refresh rate
refresh rate is at 60hz
running a DVI cable so refresh rate is auto at 60hz
