Help with virgin mobile rumor touch ringtones !?

Okay, so i have a virgin mobile rumor touch and everybody kept telling me to go to venotones.com for free ringtones, and i did that & i downloaded the ringtone to my phone,like it said and now when i go on my phone and try to set the ringtone i made, it always says unsupported file format, can anyone explain to me what it means?

there is a way. I have
the same phone.... First get
on a computer and
download a ringtone from
any site of your choice. I
prefer myxer because its
free and the ringtone files
aren't large. You will need
to create an account but its
free. Once you download a
ringtone to your computer
go to where you saved it.
Right click on the ringtone
file and choose Rename.
Now take off the .mp3 and
replace it with .qcp
once this is done attach the
qcp ringtone in an email
and send it to the phones
email which is
the10digitphonenumber@
vmpix.com
i use either Gmail or yahoo
mail. Now once you receive
the email on the phone click
on the attachment and a
menu will pop up. Choose
Assign. DO NOT SAVE. Now
once you assign it you can
find the ringtone in the My
Audio folder when
assigning ringtones. Hope
