Ok, I want to know if any of you know what to do. I bought a new dvd/vhs combo from walmart.

That one, and I got it home and I found out that I need to buy a RF Modulator to hook it up to my tv. Ok, so I did that and I can watch video tapes and dvds on it fine but I can't record or watch my direct tv while the combo is on. Now, I dont have a box, I have a little black eye that is connected to a box in a different room. Also the combo dont have a tuner(I dont know what they are). So any help would be really great.
