I'm looking at a 2004 toyota highlander that has about 135000 miles. The seller offered it to me for $4000. It doesn't have the timing belt and the water pump replaced and has a crack on the windshield. Seller said it has new tires.

Please help me making a decision! What do I need to look for? Is this a good price? how much do windshields cost?

Thank you!!

That is a killer deal if it's in good shape. I would not worry about the timing belt and water pump, they can go that long with the belt because they use hydraulic tensioners and do not wear out the belts much.

The other guy is an idiot. They didn't make highlanders in 99.

$4000 for 2004? We sold a 1999 for $3000. It's ok I guess but you should run a car fax. Show me the car fax-LOL :) Good luck.
