I was put on probation August 30th 2010 for a domestic assault charge (misdemeanor punishable up to a year in jail). I've been on probation for three months. I was sentenced to submit to random drug screenings and PBT's (Breathalyzers that have to be completed before 10am). I was late a few times and my probation officer told me if I was late to one more PBT then she would have to violate me. I was late twice-one for a good reason so she won't violate me for that one-and a second because my alarm didn't sound. What is the possibility of me going to jail verses an extended probation? Or will I just have my probation extended?
