Help please!? Really newbie networking problem!?

My nokia e63 phone runs on 802.11 b/g wifi and my hub is 802.11 b/g/n. Is this why my phone is never able to connect to the home wifi at all with a message saying 'no gateway reply'? Thanks
I've entered everything in and manually put in the ip address, this worked for a day until it came up with the message again.

Did you turn on the wireless function from your router? I used E63 and have no problem with my router. I get 'no gateway reply' message only when I turn the wireless off.

It should work maybe ur home wifi is block n u jeed to put the passwordon ur phone so u can use ur internet on the phone

Stuff like this can happen if you have the router set to do DHCP and the device has a fixed IP address, or vice versa (i.e. the router doesn't do DHCP and the device does).

have you let your router allow your phone? Because the b/g/n doesn't matter
