Not on purpose, when I was a Marine, I walked out of the bus station and I was just going to walk back to base, which was about 10 miles, I was in USMC Infantry, so 10 miles was really no big deal for me. As I was walking down the road, people kept stopping and said they would give me a ride to the base, I told the first few no, but people kept stopping, so I finally took a ride to the base. I was wearing my uniform, so I guess people were being nice and just wanted to help.
